Late Summer, set in a waterfront town, is the story of a young man coping with the passing of another tourist season. It paints a landscape of sights, sounds and smells populated by a crowded beach, juxtaposed against the lonely backdrop of a late summer sunset, a calm sea, and a quieter beach. As he walks a line between the sand and the sea, he is aware of the opposing forces beckoning him, and he ponders – Should he suffer the scorching sand, or brave the waves of the ocean?
